ABOUT KROMYA

KROMYA ART GALLERY was founded in 2018 in Lugano by Tecla Riva, Giorgio Ferrarin and Adriano A. Sala as a result of a long-standing common passion and expertise. In 2020 KROMYA expanded its headquarters with a new outpost in Verona, Italy.

From April 28th to June 20th, 2021, the KROMYA Art Gallery Lugano presented the exhibition Flavio Paolucci – A confronto. Opere di ieri e di oggi dedicated to the Swiss master.

The exhibition retraced Flavio Paolucci’s artistic journey from the 1980s to the present day, highlighting his relationship with nature as a source of inspiration and his artistic evolution over the years.

The exhibited works, including sculptures and paintings, were created with primitive materials such as branches, stones, and leaves, which characterize the artist’s language. The compositions were enriched over time with symbolic elements and new materials such as marble, glass, and bronze.

The exhibition displayed about twenty works, which interacted with each other within the gallery’s rooms, offering the public the opportunity to immerse themselves in Flavio Paolucci’s creative universe and discover the beauty and complexity of the natural world through the artist’s eyes.
